An opportunity exists for a skilled and compassionate professional to serve as a School Counselor supporting elementary schools in Valencia, CA. This contract position spans the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and summer school sessions, providing part-time hours in the afternoons through an after-school program (approximately 26-27 hours per week).
Responsibilities include collaborating with the district counseling team to deliver social-emotional learning (SEL) lesson planning and instruction, with a focus on topics such as bullying prevention. The role also involves conducting crisis interventions as necessary to support student well-being.
Key Qualifications For Success In This Role Include
- Background in school-based counseling within elementary education settings
- Possession of valid California state licensure in counseling

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate between $45 and $55, commensurate with experience and educational credentials.
